Hello, my name is Gen. 

I lead the clinical side of Angelic Care, providing expert and specialist knowledge for nursing people in their homes. 

I have been nursing for 20 years, the last 15 years specialsiing in Community and Primary health. Nursing is my passion. I have completed  postgraduate certificates in wounds, stomas, and continence as well as the Master of Nursing. 

I am a qualified  stoma therapy nurse and have been a Clinical Nurse Consultant for 2 years, honing my skills for in-home nursing to promote the independence and safety of vulnerable people in their homes.

I lead training workshops and presentations to guide and mentor up-and-coming new nurses as well as support workers. I have successfully instigated telehealth consultancy in the last year for people in rural and remote areas, like Chinchilla and Russel Island.

I have also written two articles for publication in nursing journals. 

I love gardening, art, nature, animals, travelling and writing fiction for fun. 

Work-life balance is essential to me, so spending time with my family and close friends is important.
