Short Term Accommodation
Care when you need a break
Take time out for you
Short-term accommodation is available for both carers and the people they care for. For carers, it allows you to take a break or focus on other commitments and for those with a disability, it provides accommodation and care for when your usual supports cannot be accessed. Short-term accommodation is also a great opportunity for people with a disability to meet new people, try new activities and change up their routine.
Short-term accommodation is accessible for short periods of time for carers and the people they care for, up to 28 days in a year. If you are NDIS funded, short-term accommodation includes all expenses in a 24-hour period such as assistance with daily personal activities, accommodation costs, food and other activities.
