Angelic Care Policy
An Important Message About Covid-19
Staff Hygiene
All AC staff and volunteers must follow correct handwashing techniques and other hygiene practices. All staff are also required to report any flu like symptoms to management and self-isolate for 14 days if they, or someone they’ve had contact with, return from overseas.
Social Distancing
To adhere to directives on social distancing, all clients are asked to be seated away from the driver and other clients. No clients will be allowed to be seated in the front seat unless under extreme circumstances.
Extra Vehicle Cleaning
All AC Transport vehicles are fully equipped with hand sanitiser, antibacterial wipes and spray. Drivers are required to be extra vigilant and clean all surfaces inside the vehicle in between client pickups.
Your Cooperation is Appreciated
To protect our staff and other clients, we will ask you if you have been in contact with anyone who has returned from overseas upon you transport booking. We also ask you to report any flu like symptoms you may be experiencing.
We are here to help in any need of assistance
This is a challenging time for everyone in the community; which is why AC has commenced a range of new services to support those who are at high risk and experiencing social disconnection and loneliness while in isolation. You can read more about these initiatives here.
We are committed to connecting communities and are actively working with local organisations to provide extra support during these tough times. If you are experiencing any hardship, we encourage you to reach out to our team and see how else we can assist you. We are here to help, now more than ever.
Whether it’s finding social support through families in similar situations, daily personal care, day outings or to understand requirements for funding, we can lend a helping hand.
